Once every 4-6 weeks we meet at Braeside Park (just 5 minutes from Edithvale) for some loops around this beautiful park. The long run meeting place and route will be announced each week on the MELBOURNE PACK RUNNING Facebook page. Distance options range from 7km- 30km+
Includes warm-up, stretching, drills, strides, speed work, cool-down. The sessions include running reps between 200m and 2km, time trials and windsprints on the track plus threshold runs and fartlek on a nearby trail. Many of the sessions will help you with pace judgment for races. On Sunday we simply go for a group run.
Cost is $50 per month, including a customized training program (GEARED TO YOUR PACE LEVEL) and all coaching correspondence (i.e. up to 3 sessions per week or 12 sessions per month), including meeting in person, phone calls and emails. If you can’t make the groups I can coach you purely online for $50 a month, which includes a monthly plan, as many emails as you want, plus phone calls.
I would expect you to send me a training report at least once weekly- quite a deal more regularly if you prefer. You would need to give me data on your training and race results, giving information such as time and distance of each run, repetition, fartlek, time trial and hill split times and recovery times, plus how you felt on various days. The data you send me could be as detailed as you wish; remember some details are better than none at all.
Please pay $50 per month, commencing with your starting date for sessions with the squad.
