30, Central Coast Half Marathon, 29 November 2015, 1:20.45
(10th overall) inaugural half.
This was Matt’s first half marathon. He recently started
training with Sweat with a goal of qualifying for the 2016
New York Marathon. Matt chose to run the Central Coast Half
because in order to qualify for New York, he had to run a
sub 1.21 half before the end of 2015. Beating this target
time by just 15 seconds, Matt was ecstatic. He continues to
train hard with the Sweat squad in preparation for his first
marathon in November 2016.
